First, sorry for the relative lack of posts over Thanksgiving break. Now that I'm back on a regular schedule, I should be able to keep up my one-post-a-day regimen.
Now, onto the song/video. And you should definitely watch the video. Let me start by saying that if blacking out was that awesome, I wouldn't put the bottle down, ever. Also, these guys are a fascinating combo of 3OH!3 and LMFAO and every other tongue-in-cheek alt-electro party-all-the-time act out there. Or, actually, they're more like a copy of all of them. But still- damn, this song is a jam.
What's interesting is that it was a 69-cent special for quite a while on iTunes, but now it's full price, and it's still selling pretty well. It's not hard to see why, either: this type of music is BIG these days. Throw a little dubstep in there over a hot beat, make sure the lyrics are sufficiently pro-partying, and, obviously, make sure the video is well-stocked with dope chicks, and you've got a hit. All of which they did. Rock on, Breathe Carolina...and make sure to keep blacking out!
